Tori is a distinguished licensed social worker, workforce developer, and mental health practitioner with over two decades of experience in the global nonprofit sectors spanning the U.S., Africa, the Caribbean, and Europe.
She is dedicated to nurturing resilience, fostering healthy relationships, creating supportive work environments, and utilizing data to drive healthcare practices and outcomes.
Tori has authored numerous journal articles, book chapters, and blogs posts—including contribution to and co-editor of the 5th edition of the Nursing Informatics: A Health Informatics, Interprofessional and Global Prospective textbook published by Springer Nature.
She was inducted into the National Academies of Practice’s (NAP) Social Work Academy as a Distinguished Fellow for her outstanding interprofessional collaboration work. NAP advises governmental bodies on the U.S. healthcare system.

Tori’s extensive global experience includes leading workforce development initiatives funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the U.S. Department of State’s Biosecurity Engagement Program, the European Commission, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Regional Office for Africa.
Tori co-founded Global Implementation Solutions -- a nonprofit organization that supports One Health programs, biosecurity legislation development, and the enhancement of building laboratory diagnostic capacity, primarily in Africa and the Middle East.
She was the architect and principal administrator of the second phase of the Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform (TIGER) initiative at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). This global network integrates informatics into education, certification, practice, and research through an interdisciplinary, and intergenerational approach.
Her work continues to make significant contributions to global health/informatics and mental well-being.
